Regular Trash Pick Up
Regular household trash pick-ups in Cammack Village are on Mondays and Thursdays. Residents are provided a 95 gallon carts with a blue lid by Republic Services for regular household trash.
Yard Waste Collection
Yard waste will be picked up on Mondays following regular trash pick up. Residents are provided a separate 95 gallon Cart with a brown lid by Republic Services strictly for yard waste. Limbs, leaves, and other brush will only be collected if it is in the yard waste cart. Limbs do not have to be bundled but they must be small enough to fit inside the 95 gallon container.
Recycling will be picked up every other Thursdays following the regular trash pick up. Residents are provided another 95 gallon cart with a green lid by Republic Services strictly for Recycling. There is no sorting required to recycle. Examples of acceptable recycling materials are:
Cans – soda cans, soup cans, empty aerosol cans, loose metal jar lids, steel bottle caps
Newspapers – clean, dry, and unsoiled
Plastic (PETE) – water bottles, soft drink bottles, milk jugs,
Plastic (HDPE) – plastic tubs, laundry detergent jugs, screw top jars
Aluminum Products – pie pans, clean aluminum foil
Cardboard and other Paper Products – Mail, officer paper, cereal boxes, pizza boxes, juice cartons, paper and hardback books, magazines, phone books, brown papers bags, paper egg cartons.
Styrofoam is NOT recyclable

All carts should be positioned with wheels facing away from the street with about three feet of space on each side and 12 feet clearance above so the automated arm can grab and empty the container. Carts should be placed at the curb no earlier than 6:00 p.m. the night before scheduled pick up and must be removed from the curb within 24 hours of trash being picked up.
Bulk Pick Up
Cammack Village will provide residents with one curbside bulk item pick up per year. Bulk pick ups must be scheduled through City Hall. Curbside pick ups must be scheduled BEFORE bulk items are placed at the curb. When scheduling a curbside pick up we will need your name, address, phone number and a list of items you want picked up. We will only pick up items you schedule to pick up. Examples of acceptable bulk items; furniture, appliances, lawn furniture, and mattresses. We will not pick up; construction and demolition debris, automotive components, liquid paint, explosives, medical waste or tires.
Sanitation is billed quarterly by Cammack Village. Invoices are mailed or emailed at the beginning of each quarter and are due on the last day of each quarter. If payment is received after the last day of the quarter a $15 late fee will be charged and your name will be published in the City Council Meeting Information Packets.
