CITY COUNCIL
The City Council met on Tuesday, October 10th. The Council first reviewed the 9th month financial report given by Treasurer Thomas and the monthly police report given by Chief Powell. They then moved on to the lone item of New Business on the Agenda. The Council approved Ordinance 17-03. Ordinance 17-03 approves the yearly real and personal property tax levy for 2017.  This is not a new levy but a continuation of the existing levy.

LIGHTING AT BAKER PARK
This year Cammack Village welcomes everyone to attend the Third Annual Holiday Lighting of Baker Park on Thursday, December 7th at 5:00 pm. Last year’s event was a great success and we hope to build on it by adding even more attractions. Check back in the November Periodical or cammackvillage.org for updates.

THANKSGIVING TRASH PICK-UP
Trash pickup for the week of Thanksgiving will be Monday, November 20th and Friday, November 24th.  Trash WILL NOT be picked up on Thanksgiving Day.

CITY HALL THANKSGIVING HOURS
Monday, November 20th………..8:00 – 4:30pm
Tuesday, November 21st………. 8:00 – 4:30pm
Wednesday, November 22nd……8:00 – Noon
Thanksgiving Day………………Closed
Friday, November 24th…………Closed

If you are leaving town for the Thanksgiving holiday and would like the Police Department to keep an eye on your home please contact City Hall to fill out a Vacation Report before November 21st.

There were 4 incidents in the month of September in Cammack Village. Please note the following relate to incidents reported and handled by the Police Department and do not necessarily indicate that charges were filed based upon the incidents.
