The City Council met on Tuesday, May 8th. The Council reviewed the monthly financial report given by Treasurer Thomas and monthly police report given by Chief Powell. After reviewing the monthly reports the Mayor announced the tennis courts surfacing is now complete and the courts are playable. For more information regarding the tennis courts see below.
TENNIS COURT UPDATE
The tennis court surfaces have been repaired and both courts are now open for play, but the renovations are not complete. There are still areas that need attention and there may be days when the tennis courts are temporarily closed to complete those repairs. Now that the surfaces have been repaired we ask you to please be mindful of the new court rules that will help protect the new surface. Signs with the new rules have been placed at the entrance to both courts. Renovations to the court were funded by your Urban Service District and The Brown Foundation. We would like to thank Redstone Construction and Cannon Fletcher at CBE Tennis for their excellent work repairing the surfaces.
