CONGRATULATIONS CHIEF POWELL AND RANGER
We would like to congratulate Chief Powell and his K9 Partner Ranger for their recent role in assisting the Department of Justice during a recent narcotics trafficking investigation. Due to their role the Cammack Village Police Department was presented with a check for $10,900 as part of the city’s criminal asset forfeiture allocation resulting from this investigation which by law will be used for Cammack Village Police Department expenditures. There have never been any expenses charged to Cammack Village with respect to Chief Powell’s K9 partners. Chief Powell covers 100% of the animal care cost of his partners.
K9 Ranger is trained to locate the odor of five different narcotics substances: Marijuana, Cocaine, Herion, Methamphetamine, and Ecstasy.
