City Council Meetings – 2nd Tuesday at 6:00 p.m.
USD Board Meetings – First Tuesday of Feb, May, Aug, Nov. at 7:00 p.m.
The City Council met on Tuesday, July 10th. The Council first reviewed the monthly financial report and monthly police report given by Chief Powell. They then turned their attention to the two items of New Business on the Agenda. The Council first approved an increase in the daily rates for the swimming pool to $10 per person. The increase was in response to the rising cost of chemicals and maintenance. This was the first increase in daily rates in 10 years and brings the entry fee closer to the rates other facilities in the area charge. The Council then approved a pool policy change to limit only members to reserve the swimming pool for parties.
