The City Council met on Tuesday, June 11th. There were three items of New Business on the Agenda for the Council. The Council first approved ordinance 19-03, which is attached. Ordinance 19-03 amends Ordinance 99-7 to clarify rules and regulations in Cammack Village parks and change the hours for the parks to sun up to sunset. The Council then approved Ordinance 19-04, which is attached. Ordinance 19-04 is an ordinance recommended by the Administrative Office of the Courts to dissolve the Pulaski County District Court Cammack Village Division based on entering into an updated agreement with another department of the 31st District Court. This is only a procedural ordinance to update an agreement from 2017. Last up on the Agenda, the Council approved Attorney Shane Strabala to represent Cammack Village in an upcoming legal proceeding with Red Stone Construction regarding a contract dispute pertaining to the tennis court renovations.
CITY COUNCIL MEETING MOVED
The July City Council Meeting will be moved from its regular day of Tuesday, July 9th to Tuesday, July 16th due to renovations taking place at City Hall the week of July 8th.
CITY HALL CLOSED
Cammack Village City Hall will be closed for renovations starting Monday, July 8th and will reopen Monday, July 15th. Messages left will be returned the following week.
Cammack Village’s juvenile curfew remains the same even during the summer months. The curfew hours are 10:00 pm to 5:00 am, Sunday through Thursday and Midnight to 5:00 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. Curfew times do not change for the summer months.
NO FIREWORKS WITHIN CITY LIMITS
Since Fourth of July is right around the corner we would like everyone to be aware that Cammack Village Ordinance 03-03 prohibits the discharge of fireworks within city limits, with the exception of sparklers, smoke balls, party-poppers and snap poppers. Violation of this ordinance could result in a fine of up to $100 for the first offense. A copy of Ordinance 03-03 is available at the Cammack Village website or at City Hall upon request.

Pool memberships for the 2019 season will go on sale half price on Monday, July 15th.
