Cammack Village

Vegetative clean-up is still underway in the Village. Construction debris starts today, too. PLEASE ENSURE ALL VEGETATIVE AND CONSTRUCTION DEBRIS IS ON THE CURB BY WEDNESDAY, MAY 3, 2023. The crews will be making a final round to pick-up later this week.

Cammack Village residents two very important tornado debris removal items: 
1. Please DO NOT MIX vegetative debris with construction material. If the crew sees a mixture, they will not pick it up. The dump will not accept mixed debris. They are picking up vegetative debris ONLY right now. 
2. The crews are trying to get to as many homes as quickly as possible so in some cases they are leaving behind some smaller debris items. They will be back! You can help them by raking anything leftover into smaller piles to help them on their return pass.

So that debris crews can work quickly and reach as many streets as possible, please refrain from giving the crews any special requests. The more requests they receive, the longer the process will take. Thank you for help them help us!

Temporary NEW construction hours are 6:00am - Sunset, 7 days/week. This change is effective immediately to allow crews to use all daylight hours to help our fellow citizens rebuild.

Cammack Village debris removal will resume Monday, 4/24/23. There will be numerous trucks with heavy machinery. Please use caution and patience as you navigate through the Village over the coming weeks. There will be traffic monitors to help the flow of cars around the work being completed.

DEBRIS PICKUP HAS BEGUN! Please be kind to crews and patient as they work their way around the Village. They are clearing intersections first, and then will work their way down the streets. This will be an ongoing effort so you will have time to put more out.

Corey Williams from SBA is coming to speak at the council meeting tonight. He’ll have information for impacted homeowners and renters regarding assistance. Meeting starts at 5:30 at City Hall.

The City Council meeting today (4/11/23) has been moved to a 5:30 start instead of 6:00.

Entergy WILL NOT reconnect electrical boxes to a home. You must hire a private electrician. The work for this can be completed now, but will need to be inspected and permitted in the near future. More information to come.

Limbs must be separate from construction material as you make piles along your curbs for cleanup. Please separate the two for pickup. More information coming on exact pickup timelines. Thank you for being patient!

Republic could not pick up trash on the following streets due to downed/low power lines or blocked streets. They will try again on Thursday 4/6/23. Greenwood Sunset Rockwood Palisade/University Englewood

Lots of questions regarding trash pick-up tomorrow. We are planning as if they will pick-up as normal, but aren’t certain they will be able to make the entire Cammack route. Hoping to have confirmation about pick-up status first thing Monday (4/3) morning!

City Hall will close today (2/20/23) at 1:00pm. We will reopen tomorrow for regular hours 8:00am - 4:30pm.

Election Filing Deadline - Aug. 1, 2022 The filing deadline for running for Elected Office is at noon on 8-10-22

Bulk Leaf Pickup - Feb. 8, 2022 Bulk leaf removal of bagged leaves will be on February the 28th
